Rita has a heart for mentoring, teaching, and helping others. She uses everyday life experiences and nature to illustrate biblical truths.
Rita has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a High Ability License. She combined her two loves, accounting and teaching, when she owned and operated a teacher education supply store, Learning Adventures, in Quincy, Illinois. She has contributed articles on education to The Family Magazine of Michiana as well as co-writing elementary curriculum. She currently teaches 4th grade High Ability students. Rita is married to Harold, a music teacher, and they have one grown son D.
Her father had a couple of quotes that he would always ask when she was grumbling about something, or found something very difficult to master. He would say, “Did you learn anything?”, and “But, did you have fun?” For many years now, Rita’s mission has been to learn as much as she can, and to have some fun along the way. So join her in this journey, as we learn, laugh, love, and have a little fun along the way.
